Bespoke professional security services with the experience of years in policing and licensed by the SIA. (Security Industry Authority).
Security Officers with Newton & Noss Security are fully trained, licensed by the SIA which is part of the Home Office, and DBS checked as standard. All of our staff are also retired /ex police staff. From regular/special/pcso’s, they are all experienced in their role as well as current license and our uniform.
We uniform correctly, so as to be identifiable as Security Officers with clear emergency services style patches and appropriate equipment. Our uniform is usually royal blue and dark grey/black. We occasionally wear safety stab vests in blue with restraint devices, depending on the role performed.
All staff wear identification and use body cameras for safety and evidence gathering purposes.

Rob is the owner of Newton & Noss Security. Now retired from Devon & Cornwall Police after 22 years service.
He has vast experience in policing public order offences, criminal damage, burglaries, alarm and emergency responding. Also co-ordinating and implimenting large operations responsible for many officers safety and welfare.
Rob has a very well developed non-confrontational, personable attitude that has made him valuable in tackling challenging situations.
He has had to use verbal skills to de-escalate a great many situations, even receiving a Chief Constable’s Commendation for excellent police work.
This experience in policing over the years has been invaluable in his new career as Newton and Noss Security security consultant.
Rob is licensed by the SIA to perform front line duties such as security guarding, licensed premises door supervision, high visibility patrol, handcuff and restraints plus key holding. Rob also has forensic, counter-surveillance, profiling and cctv qualifications.
